Expectations

I am so excited to begin my internship at Streets Ministries! I have already been able to spend a little bit of time there over the past few weeks and the mission that they are trying to fulfill is so exciting to me. I am anxious to see what all the staff has in store for me. As I was meeting with Reggie last week he told me that he wanted to get me involved in every aspect of the ministry, and that really fired me up! I will be able to work with the kids, however, most excitingly I will have the opportunity to work in the offices and gain a greater understand of how non-profit organizations work! I really hope that I gain a greater knowledge about working for non-profit organizations, and I know that Reggie, Noelle, Jess, and the rest of the staff that I am eager to meet will be incredible mentors for me and will teach me some amazing things. I'm excited to keep my blog updated on the experiences I have and the lessons I learn throughout my internship.
