Last week at Streets I went to a staff meeting on Wednesday! Reggie wasn't there this time, because he was at the Wilson Society retreat that some Hutchison students went on. During our meeting we talked a lot about the hygiene seminars that are taking place this week. Each staff member is teaching a group of kids the fundamental things they should know about personal hygiene, and this is something that the children really need to learn about.
On Thursday I made the powerpoint to go along with the Bible story for the elementary block party on Friday! Sadly, I wasn't able to attend the block party because I was setting up for Spooky Duke; however, I know with Karla's hard work that it was a huge success.
I become more and more blessed every time I go to Streets to hang out with the wonderful staff they have there. I am looking forward to continue working with them for the rest of my internship and also through my Wilson society project!!
